REVISIT THE 60s!!!!!!!! Part Eight

HAPPPY TUESDAY!!!!!

This is an easy, peasy post....I'm a child of the 60s (although I also totally recall the 50s, too!!!). Since I graduated from high school in the 60s, I identify and remember the 60s quite well! We were glued to the TV in the 60s, so here goes.....just a few of my TV memories!!!!

Remember, just comment to be entered in the drawing for the Rural Jardin fat quarters! And, I'll talk to you again tomorrow!!!

Sit back with me and reminisce . . . . . AHHHHHH, nostalgia!!!!!!!!! They don't make 'em like this anymore!!!

  7. I also remember and enjoyed most of those old shows. My daughter got married by Lake Tahoe and we actually toured the Ponderosa. It was so cool walking around there.

  8. Great choice of TV shows - Ed Sullivan was also a standard in our home. I just watched the movie "Pirate Radio" and while I only give it 2 thimbles, the soundtrack was terrific; brought back a lot of childhood memories!

  9. I remember having to work the night of the Fugitive finale. We didn't have one single customer and I STILL haven't seen the last episode--thank goodness for DVR's now so I don't miss any True Blood episodes!

  11. Even though I wasn't born in the 60's, I have enjoyed most of these shows thanks to Nick at Night and other channels that show these great classics. I still love to sit and watch Mr. Ed and Bewitched. We live not too far from Tahoe and have also done the Ponderosa tour.

  12. Oh Gosh, Joe, you and me both. Remembering the 50's, but identifying with the 60's and those great shows. Loved The Man from Uncle, Mr. Ed, Bewitched, Ponderosa. It was fun, too, to watch classics like The Andy Griffith show with our kids on Nick at Nite (they're off on their own now, but I still like to watch!)

  13. funny -- I'm just a couple of years behind you and I know I watched a lot of TV -- but I don't recall watching any of those shows (except the Man From UNCLE) on more than a very casual basis! What WAS I watching? At least I couldname off all the ones you posted, so I know my memory isn't completely gone...
