I also think My Fair Lady is wonderful!
And for the cowgirl in us Butch Casidy and the Sundance Kid.
ReplyDeleteSound of Music, To Kill a Mockingbird and Psycho. Great movies! What about The Graduate? That was from the 60's too, wasn't it? Or to be totally different: Oliver, My Fair Lady, Mary Poppins. :D I think Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid was the seventies.....
ReplyDeleteFrom top to bottom---The Sound of Music, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Psycho. Some of my favorites are Paint your Wagon and What's New Pussycat.
ReplyDeleteSound of Music, To Kill a Mockingbird and Pshyco (Which to this day, I haven't seen - I'll have to use Netflix!)
ReplyDeleteDon't forget the "007 Bond" stuff and I think Clint Eastwood did his famous early westerns like "Good, the Bad and the Ugly" back then. I love "Paint your Wagon"!
Sound of Music.

Just watched 'Please Don't Eat The Daisy's' that i checked out from the library - so much fun to watch!
ReplyDeleteThe Sound of Music, To Kill a Mockingbird (just saw this again on TCM) & Psycho.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite movie from the 60's was Dr. Zhivago--I loved the music and the clothing. I think I wore out my soundtrack album with my dull phonograph needle and who knows what happened to that big fur hood/hat I had to have!
