REVISIT THE 60s!!!!!!!!! Part Nine

My, how time flies!!!! PART 9 of our 60s celebration!!!
If memory serves me, men started out with short almost "crew cut" hairstyles in 1960 and by 1965 or so, we were growing it out a la The Beatles. It wouldn't be long before really LONG hair came into vogue.
It was easier to find womens hair styles of the 60s...check 'em out!!!
This has been FUN for me....stay tuned....more nostalgia to come....and please comment to be eligible to win the Rural Jardin fat quarters!!

  1. Oh yeah--I really wanted to look like Twiggy. I tried the big eye makeup a few times--I must have looked completely ridiculous! Thanks for the trip back to the sixties.

  6. My husband collects records and we have almost all of the Beatle's albums. On weekend mornings we like to sit on the porch and eat our breakfast while listening to the old record albums.

  7. Groovy hair-do's!

I'm remembering my mothers very "negative" remarks about these "hair-do's". She called them "hair-don'ts". She didn't like the Beatles either because they shook their heads and made their long hair a mess when they sang.
